THE IDEA OF FLYWHEEL TECHNOLOGY (MECHANICAL BATTERY) WAS CONCEIVED IN THE YEAR 1913 BY TWO INDIAN FAMILIES
This idea was originally developed in 1913. By analyzing the Flywheel operations in the Spinning Mill and in the Tractor in 1915 the idea of power generation was discussed among our great grandfathers mutually and understood the financial aspect and support required was perfectly distributed between both sides and made the necessary arrangements from time to time and experimented the mechanism of using Flywheel attached with Dynamo for power generation purpose and encouraged other family members to learn more about this subject. In due course of time undertook many demonstrations by doing experiments using different weight of wheels and tyres and some time using Flywheels of different materials and diameters and weights. There by in their research they understood if there is proper calculated weight, diameter and rotated at certain RPM then generation of electricity is possible. The study concluded by my great grandfather and my wife's great grandfather is shaped to this final Technology under Mechanical Battery Department.

We like to bring our technology to the notice of our Hon’ble PM sir as it is a family oriented based invention since 1913. Our Grand Grand Parents worked with Madura Coats New Mills supplying Cotton and with curiosity did research on Flywheel used to power New Mills built by Mr Yates & Mr Thom. They got this idea from this company based in Madurai, India which incorporated a flywheel which is 96 Ton in weight and 2 meter in diameter (photo enclosed) rotated by a steam engine for the spinning mill called Madura Coats situated in Tamil Nadu State, India. In the year 1950 my grandfather ( Late Chaganti Veeraiah) & my wife's grandfather (Late Kunapuneni Chukka Rao) experimented flywheel technology using tractor wheels.. My grandfather & my wife's grandfather being agriculturists traded in the sale of raw cotton from the fields to Madura Coats including other spinning mills in those Chennai Presidency locations. During this trade the two gentlemen observed the spinning 2800 HP steam engine rotating principles used to rotate huge flywheels in the factory. Thereby they studied flywheels used to rotate machineries for spinning & ginning of cotton in the factory to extract cotton threads. After observing these phenomena they thought of producing electricity with this rotational force by using huge tractor wheels along with dynamo fitted to the wheels using pulley & v belts. They used a standstill tractor with the gearbox connected to the dynamo to produce electricity in the 1950s and used it for lighting their DC bulbs. From this small experiment they formulated a system with the diameter, speed of the gearbox of a tractor to produce electricity and developed a new concept to generate electricity. They identified that once the tractor engine is stopped the rotating wheels also stopped and they could not be further enhanced to higher versions of the technology. They taught this to my father Late. Chaganti Ramarao & my wife's father Late Kunapuneni Venkateshwar Rao. Later our grandparents & parents motivated us (Dr Srinivas Bhaskar Chaganti & Dr Bala Chaganti) about these concepts. Later we developed interest in power generation using wheel technology, also during our childhood age while playing with different toys of different areas that had different torque levels, we learned with more zeal & enthusiasm. We started learning about the principles of Mechanical battery different gear boxes, motors & generators from various, workshops, universities and enhanced our skills in Mechanical Battery concept with pulse based systems and with 35 plus years we did research in different fields of mechanical battery and invented that Diameter, RPM & Weight, power can be generated and subsequently invented 22 verticals of technologies with our own hard work and efforts.
